Salomon Forces Shoes
"These are awesome shoes which is no surprise as I've bveen wearing Salomon Trail Runners for 15 years. The construction and comfort are top notch, mine are the Wolf colorway which is a nice change from my typical black or coyote. I anticipate that the soles will wear well. That's always the trade off, softer soles provide more grip but wear faster, harder soles the opposite. Like tires. These seem to be in the middle, the sweet spot. I like them so much I bought another pair!"

Great year round boots
"If you live in a wet region, the GTX are great year round boots due to their Goretex lining. Salomon is chosen by Americas best SOF operators for a reason. U. S. Elite delivers fast and oftentimes have great offers."

Overall good!
"On a normal pair of shoes, I wear size 11. I bought these in size 10. 5, and they fit perfectly. One day during training, I walked across a bayou with about two inches of water, and the Gore-Tex did its job, keeping my socks dry. Overall, I’m very satisfied. I’m glad Salomon decided to go with traditional laces on these shoes because, even though the thin quick-lace systems, like the ones on the Speed Assault 2, are convenient, they don’t hold up over time and tend to tear before the shoes wear out. I’m looking forward to buying a pair of X Ultra in Ranger Green with Gore-Tex when it becomes available."

Excellent purchase.
"This my first pair of Salmon boots. I picked them up on sale and I'm convinced I got the better end of the deal. I feel think they fit true to size, though some reviewers list them as running a bit big. Thicker socks help if you think they run big. Quality shoe at a great price, and shipping was quick and flat rate. I would buy from US Elite again."

Poor excuse for a boot
"Inside left shoe outside near insole is sewn rough, feel this all day. Right shoe is OK. Noisiest, creakiest shoes I’ve ever worn. Tactical shoes? Don’t even try sneaking up on somebody!"

"Light, sturdy, and gorgeous. A bit stiff out of box. Wearing them around the house I unfortunately noticed that the upper gromit is causing pain pushing directly on my navicular bones, other reviews make me worry this is more than a break in issue and that my feet just don't fit right. Luckily i had someone suggest a change in lacing which resolved the issue for me. Great boot and great customer service. Always choose US Elite Gear!"
