"First day of wearing these I had to swim out to the middle of a pond to rescue someone who crashed into it. The shoes stayed on my feet and once dried out they were fine and still function perfectly!"

Go up half a size for Gortex version

"I’ve been wearing speed assaults for years. Always been my favorite duty shoes. I went to grab another pair and saw they finally make them with Gortex. The Gortex must add to the side thickness and my usual size killed me and was too snug. Size up half a size with the Gortex versions"
