frustrated with designer sunglasses
"Let me start by saying that this negative review isn't necessarily against Magpul sunglasses but rather the sunglass industry as a whole. The following is my complaint, After wearing the Magpul Terrain Rose colored polarized glasses for about 2 months, both eye pieces became scratched so badly I couldn't stand wearing them any longer. The construction of the glasses was great! The spring loaded hinges were cool! Polarization was awesome! The issue with these glasses and others, is the scratching of the lenses! I'm assuming most people who use sunglasses are similar to me. If my glasses are smudged, or dirty, I will grab the corner of my clothing and wipe off the lenses. With all the things I have to keep track of during work or play, The last thing a person should be worried about is carrying a special cloth or cleaning solution to "safely" clean my glasses. After the same issue with a a pair of Oakleys, I made a point of wiping of with the bottom of my shirt making sure there wasn't any sort of abrasive junk on my shirt, or that there was anything abrasive on the glasses before wiping. This allowed the glasses about 2 months of usable time. User error on my part? Any suggestions? Am I missing something."
