The ZEPHYR MK2 HI is a highly breathable mission boot that achieves the ideal balance between agility, lightness and stability. The upper is made from a combination of water-repellent, tear-resistant suede and abrasion-resistant, breathable CORDURA® material. The highly breathable fabric lining is highly abrasion-resistant and ideal for use in dry or hot and damp climate zones. The HI-CUT upper provides the support needed during parachute jumping and fast roping. An innovative locking hook allows the lacing to be individually adjusted in the forefoot and ankle area. The dual-layer PU midsole with a MONOWRAP® frame surrounds and supports the foot like an exoskeleton.

LOWA Boots are leaps above the rest
"I used to be a die hard Salomon fan and user, but they always run small and I have had bad luck with the little lacing hooks breaking off while lacing them up. I have several pairs and most are just too damn narrow and tight for me to wear and after paying so much money for them I decided to give LOWA a try and I am so dang happy that I did. First thing I noticed is that the Lowa Boots we substantially lighter than the Salomon Boots. Slid them on and laced them up and they are amazing. Plus, I saved about $35 right off of the top. Their sizes seem to run spot on for me and their ankle support and overall comfort beats Salomon hands down!! I will not go back to the over priced Salomon Boots/Shoes again. Lowa have been superior and no more of those dang lacing hooks that always break at the least opportune time. The overall design of the Lowa is great because they can handle anything you throw at them and they still keep going. I love mine and I am positive you will love them too if you give them the chance. You will not be sorry!!!"

"Went straight into a 10 miler fresh out of the box with no pain. Got absolutely soaked but dried quickly. Only downside has been needing insoles due to individual issues, but nothing the company can do about that. I will never own another brand of boot."
Instant comfort right out of the box.
"Pulled these boots out of the box and wore them on a very unseasonably warm October day to recover a downed deer for a friend. After a couple hours of trudging around through woods and thickets, I was sweating my a$$ off. Roughly 30 minutes later I took the boots off and only the backs of my ankles were still sweaty. Extremely light weight and comfortable. These boots do everything that the manufacturer claims they will do."
