All-weather duty boots don't come much better than the Lowa Zephyr GTX. The upper is made with a mix of split leather and Cordura® fabric for enhanced protection and long-term durability. Lowa's signature Cross outsole and polyurethane Monowrap® construction provide the traction and stability you want in a duty boot. And the Zephyr GTX's GORE-TEX® lining keeps the foot dry while remaining breathable.

Hi. I work in construction and do tactical things for fun. I was active duty military for 4 years and bumped around way cooler guys that did way cooler stuff and got to ask their opinions on gear. \nI’ve had these boots for about a month now. I heard a lot of great things about them, and I’m happy to say I have a lot of great things to say about them. \nFirst off, they look great. They’re not flashy, but they stand out, and the dark chocolate color is rich and deep. \nSecondly, the tread grips wet ultisol and mud pretty well. I went across a fallen log with absolute ease. The GTX lining defeats rain and standing water pretty well, but if you’re going to do a 10 mile hike then you’ll be faced with the fact that the rain on your body will slide in through the top of your boots, and they’ll take a while to dry. \nThere are only two issues I’ve had with them actually; they can get slippery if you’re moving fast across painted lines in the rain, such as the Lowe’s parking lot. The second issue could just be me and my jacked up feet, but I immediately replaced the insoles with some extra support insoles from Walmart. \nBut yeah, these are my favorite boots right now.

Light weight, well made, trustworthy boots. I am only docking a star because the cushion is thin. I'm a big guy, I do a lot of miles training, and my knees and lower back take the hit as you all know. So I added a (well known brand) extra foot pad to mine. \n I bought the Wide boot in my size and don't have a problem jogging in them. I do an Airborne Shuffle for an hour in snow during winter and it's perfect. \n I recommend them.
