Good boots, but are they really worth the price?
"After wearing these boots in various conditions for 12+ hours at a time over several weeks, they appear to have solid construction and they look great. They are heavier than their competitors. Your feet get pretty hot inside of them too, but that is to be expected with Gore-Tex. Upon lacing them up for the first time, one of the eyelets had a sharp barb on the inside that snagged the lace and damaged the material. Quality control should have caught that defect, but it wasn't the end of the world. The insoles that come with these boots are laughable at best, and you'll want to replace them quickly. One would expect a nice comfortable insole when paying this price for boots. Instead, you get something thin and flimsy that lacks any form of cushion and support. You get far better insoles with boots that cost half the price."
