The USMC certified hot weather 590 boot is built on Belleville's Vanguard direct injected sole system platform developed to provide combat footwear with superior shock absorption and flexibility. The 590 also features a resolable rubber Vibram outsole with an aggressive tread pattern that includes multidirectional lugs designed to perform in diverse and rugged terrain. The 590 is also a lighter weight option to the standard issue boot.

"My favorite boots. They last a long time too."
These are my third pair.
"These are my third pair. I am not and have not been in the military. However, I chose these boots because they are hiking boots after all. I have worn enough commercial hiking boots to know what they offer in terms of value for money. Not much really, in many cases. These Belleville boots suit the tropical Hong Kong weather I am in. They are tough wearing; offer very good traction and foot protection. To conclude: they are great value for money. I mean I paid 100 units of money and got 120 units of value out of it."
