"Ii can’t call these gloves rope gloves-because the first time you’d use them as such-you would lose your hands.These are great shooting gloves with great dexterity,but they’re not reinforced in the palm area which is where the heat buildup in very short order(read seconds)and would burn right through."

Nice Gloves
"Build quality is excellent. As "rope gloves" they should have more reinforcing on the palm. I bought them as a light duty general purpose gloves. They're quite light, so I paired them with a pair or merino wool liners. Pretty much perfect now."
Better sizing, lighter duty than expected
"LEAF sizes fit better (very well) than the corresponding civilian glove sizes over on the Arc'Teryx side. XL is my size, but because I'm used to gloves running at least a size too small over on the Arc'Teryx side, I mistakenly ordered an XXL, which was unnecessary. XL is XL. Heavier duty would have gotten five stars. Returning XXL for exchange."
