The back of the vest is longer than the front with the hem hitting around mid-seat for me. The overall fit is quite relaxed. Would order your regular size if you plan wear on top of thicker intermediate layers like a waffle top but would consider sizing down if you plan to just wear it over a base layer underneath outerwear. Planning to order another in a size smaller for that purpose.
