However, they're good in the heat because they are breathable and dry very quickly. This keeps mosquitos and the sun off of people in humid areas. "It is the best balaclava money can buy. It is expensive but it last. It breathes well during hot summer months. BUY A SMALL. I previously bought a large knowing it would be loose but still just get the small."

"Much lighter weight/thinner than most balaclavas, yet still warm and breathable when most others I've tried aren't. Length is perfect to tuck into a shirt, and it's thin enough to wear under a helmet, even with an additional beanie if necessary. I wore it for a couple days in the teens in Finland, paired with the neck gaiter, and occasionally the depending on activities, and it was awesome."
