My go to low top

"Before purchasing my first pair of these a year or two ago, I had only owned one pair of Salomon gym shoes from their standard line. They were my favorite shoe! But they were also discontinued shoe. If there’s one thing I will spend money on. It’s a good pair of shoes. I’m on my second pair of these. They are everything I could ask for! They have a moderately aggressive grip pattern so they don’t wear out prematurely if they’re not used on the trail like some of Salomon’s other offerings. I can wear these on the trail on the cement in the snow wherever I need and I know, I can always depend on them."

"Comfortable shoes at a solid price with quick shipping too boot! These are my 3rd pair of Salomon shoes and they're reputation is justly deserved. Their crazy comfy, all day supportive, easy on and easy off. They provide good traction and slip resistance and breath well with only moderate water resistance. These will be a good choice if you're looking and considering them for most any application. And did I mention they're pretty good looking too (Wolf Grey) is slightly lighter in color than the pictures and I love them!"

Great Shoe!

"This is my 4th pair of either these or the civilian model the PRO 3D and there is a reason that I keep going back to these. They are quite simply a great "do it all" shoe. I've worn these everywhere from Colorado, to Florida, to Afghanistan. Love the speed lace system and they fit my foot well. They support added weight well and have great traction on a variety of terrain. Only reason that they aren't 5 stars is that I do tend to burn through them quicker than some of my other shoes or boots. I realize that footwear is a consumable item. I just tend to burn through these quicker than some others. But overall, they are excellent. Like I said up front, there is a reason that I'm on my 4th pair. They are just solid."

Salomon XA Pro Forces

"Standing with vest and duty belt for 8 hours. Very light weight. And comfortable. After a month break in the shoes are too narrow. Need to go up a half size"
