THE HIGH SPEED GEAR TACO®

Steve Keefer

The Taco® is the #1 choice of the high-class guys - hands down. There are so many different varieties that when you order one, you feel like you're at a real taco stand (there is, thankfully, no fish Taco.) We'd like to offer some tips on how to choose the Taco® that's right for you.

Let's start with some detail on the O.G. Taco®.

The above is an example of the basic rifle-mag taco. Now let's move on to a few gourmet tacos.

1. THE SOFT TACO

The Soft Taco is flexible and expandable. It was designed to hold large, cylindrical items like waterbottles and Cans O' Whoopass. The stretchy construction provides a convenient and secure place to store a variety of stuff, like a fistful of mags, and it attaches easily to a pack or belt.

2. TRIPLE PISTOL TACO MOLLE

This triple-threat pouch can take just about any combo you can shove in. Mags, knives, lights, whatever - and it can hold just about any size mag. It has a quick, easy deployment and a strong, adjustable hold. Mag insert is easy and consistent - no fighting to get those suckers in.

3. X2R TACO DOUBLE RIFLE MAGAZINE POUCH

The next generation in tacos. The XR2 is two modular rifle mag pouches in one secure unit. Like most tacos, the XR2 can securely hold an infinite combination of mags and other accessories. A double scoop of secure retention.

4. PISTOL TACO

The Pistol variation of the Taco®. Similarly to its brother, the pistol taco can be adjusted to store multiple sized magazines along with various other tools. It has the same quick in-and-out capability along with a strong and adjustable retention system.

5. DOUBLE DECKER TACO POUCH

Finally, the double decker. This pouch is high speed! All the glory of a rifle taco with a pistol taco mounted right on top. Hold a rifle mag and a knife. Flashlight and a couple pistol mags. And they still keep their best-in-class flexibility, retention and easy deployment. Double the pleasure, double the gun.

The Taco® is more than a pouch - it's a kit. Tacos will stick on packs, belts, rigs, plate carriers...anything that can hold molle or a clip. You can keep mags, tools, med supplies, grenades, handcuffs...the list goes on.
