Why We Like It
The Stud Bar sets the standard for tough, durable pullup bar design. We have 3 Stud Bars and totally abuse them - but they always rise to the challenge! (And in the end, somehow always kick our butts)
The Stud Bar's 4-foot width and sturdy anchoring allow 2 CrossFitters to kip at the same time without knocking elbows too badly. Stud Bar did a lot of research (and trial and error) to get even the bar size and finish right, to maximize grip while minimizing skin tears on the hands. Also, a lot of athletes like to hang their rings over the Stud Bar.
Description
The Stud Bar comes in three different sizes to suit you needs:- Small for eight foot ceilings - hangs 10-14" inches below the ceiling
- Medium for nine foot ceilings - hangs 14-22" below the ceiling
- Large for ten foot ceilings - hangs 31-39" below the ceiling
Specifications- Made from welded 14 gauge steel with triangular gussets for added strength
- 600 LB. weight capacity
- The bar is 1 1/4" diameter for a comfortable grip
- Mounting holes center on your existing ceiling or wall studs at 48 inches for easy mounting
- (Grade 8 wood mounting hardware included)
- Hammertone powder coated finish with a lifetime warranty (Patent Pending)

Price Value Quality We use Stud Bars in our CrossFit box and frequently get two fire-breathing Athletes doing kipping pullups at the same time. The Stud Bar hold up well, mounts securely and has a bit of flexibility on height which is helpful. You may want to put a light sand on the bar, me personally I like it as it comes out of the box however some of our Athletes have more tender soft skin I guess.
