Heavy, but heavy duty. Review by Danny

This is a quality hard use folder designed to be able to take a beating. I don't feel it makes a good EDC knife, it's much to big. It will ride deep in the pocket but for EDC it's too bulky. Having said that I think it is a great duty knife or backpacking knife. In my opinion the Adamas' size and the Axis lock can combine for it to take the place of a sheath knife(although I still carry one). (Posted on 3/23/2014)

The 275 Adamas is my new favorite duty folder. I say duty folder cause I feel it's a bit too big for EDC. It's does ride deep in the pocket which is nice but it creates a bulge in tighter fitting pants. I have attached the sheath to my armor and it is my primary utility blade while working. The blade is super sharp out the box and the d2 really does hold a good edge. All in all with the benchmade axis locking mechanism, which I have great confidence in through experience, this knife becomes a fixed blade upon opening. It is the most sturdy folder I've ever owned and I it's well worth it's pricy cost. (Posted on 3/23/2014)

Like most products made by Benchmade, this knife is very high quality. Has a nice sturdy feel to it. Worth the money if you want a dependable knife. (Posted on 1/6/2014)
Solid Combat Folder Review by Rabbit

This knife is beefy, but not too heavy for EDC. The D2 steel is tough and stays sharp, and the axis lockup is solid. This knife out performs many fixed blades of the same size and is easier to carry whether opening a MRE or the enemy. (Posted on 10/14/2013)
Solid, Badass Knife Review by Steve

This is a very solid knife, I mean it really feels like a man's man knife. It's named for the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment (thus 275), therefore knowing the standards of both the Rangers & Benchmade, it better be a damn good product! Very durable, pretty much eats anything thrown it's way. (Posted on 10/1/2012)
