Whether you get to work by jumping out of perfectly good aircraft, wading up a hostile beach or jammed in the back of minivan with 6 big sweaty dudes you want your gear to be ready but not in the way. RACKminus is half the weight of a loaded M4 magazine, half the thickness of a dime and over 4 times as durable as air textured nylon: the lightest, thinnest, strongest, simplest modular chest rig on the market.
RACKminus is made from hydrophobic ULTRAcomp so it gains minimal weight when wet, dries in seconds, and resists fungal and bacterial growth so you chafe and stink less. Its MOLLEminus mesh lined shoulder straps are free breathing, MOLLE compatible and provide routing for communications wires, hydration tubes or antennas.
Two 1 inch buckles placed 7.5" on center apart allow compatibility with Velocity, Mayflower, Crye, and First Spear profile armor carriers and with any MOLLE vest by using National Molding’s Molle Tee Mounts (not included). RACKminus can also be mounted to most MOLLE armor carriers using two female repair buckles and two tee mounts.

Value Quality Price If you have been looking for a lightweight, low profile Chest Rig, then you have to start your search by checking out Blue Force Gear’s RACKminus. It has to be one of the lightest and most low profile Chest Rig that we have ever seen at TGL. It weights in at a whooping 255 Grams!
Blue Force Gear has utilized the material called ULTRAcomp, a material that will dry very fast when wet, and is anti-fungal and bacteria.
The shoulder straps are lined with a mesh material and sit slightly off your shoulders, and they do not dig into your shoulders if you are just wearing a T-Shirt. In addition, you can route hydration tubes, communication wires, etc through them to help with cord management.
The front of the rig also has two 1″ buckles that are compatible with Plate Carriers from Velocity, Crye, Mayflower, and First Spear. BFG has also designed the RACKminus to work with any MOLLE vest by using MOLLE Tee Adapters.

When we tested the RACKminus, we tried it on over a shirt. We just unbuckled the aroun- the-back strap and slipped the rig over our heads. It was a little snug, but the buckles were easily adjustable and the rig sat comfortably on our chest. We had added the BFG Ten Speed Triple M4 Magazine Pouch to the front of the rig and did not even notice it. Without magazines in, the rig weights nothing. Adding the 3 magazines, you still have a great low profile silhouette. The padding on the shoulder pads is just enough to keep the shoulder pads from digging into your shoulders.
The rig is great if you are going to the range for some practice or drills. Or, if you are in the field, and want to have a low profile chest rig under a jacket, then this is going to fit the bill. If you like your PC, but want to add a Chest Rig to it, now you can and not notice any of the weight.
Blue Force Gear has taken the idea of lightweight and low profile and gone to the next level. The RACKminus (and as of this review its brother, the SPLITminus) are just that.
