Why We Like It
Other then the fact it is a beauty of a knife, we like this knife because it honors the sacrifice of a valorous young man who epitomizes the greatness of our service members on the field of battle. A portion of the proceeds that Benchmade earns from the sale of the Marc Lee "Glory" Knife go to the Marc Lee Glory Foundation, which is devoted to keeping the memory of every fallen Navy SEAL from being forgotten and to provide scholarships in their memoriam. RIP brother!
Description
This knife honors the fearless actions and heroic behavior of Petty Officer Second Class Marc Alan Lee, the first Navy SEAL to be killed in Iraq since the war began in 2003. Marc Lee was part of a dedicated Naval Special Warfare team fighting the insurgency in Iraq, supporting the U.S. in its efforts to bring peace and stability to that country. His valorous conduct, exemplary leadership, and extraordinary self-sacrifice for his fellow service members have earned him the highest respect and gratitude of his fellow SEALs/Special Operations Forces, the Navy, and our Nation.

Quality Price Value A lot of people buy this knife just to display, but it's a workhorse in the field. I use it for anything from processing large game to small digging tasks. The handle allows for great grip and control, keeping your hand in place even when wet. The knife itself is on the heavy side for knives this size, but the balance is perfect. This is a very useful and high quality tool, the workmanship and design are top notch. This knife will always be a reminder of the sacrifices our boys make to protect our freedom and our way of life.
