Why We Like It

This is the best bib we've used in cold, inclement weather conditions.  The design allows free range of motion.  The Alpha Bib is totally waterproof, windproof, breathable, durable and lightweight.  The pockets and zippers are well-designed and smartly situated.

Built for harsh winter conditions, the robust Alpha Bib Pants provide maximum moisture protection with enhanced mobility and breathability for active duty. Tough GORE-TEX MI270 fabric completely blocks rain and wind while allowing excess heat and moisture build-up to escape. A breathable high-backed softshell bib shields against blowing snow or rain and keeps kidneys warm. Featuring articulated shaping for unrestricted movement, two large WaterTight thigh pockets to stow critical gear, full-length side zips that make venting and donning with boots easy, and Keprotec instep patches to protect against boots, crampons or ski edges.

Customer Reviews

The king of quality Review by David

I'm 6'4" with a 35 in inseam and 34-36" waist depending on diet. I bought the crocodile color in xl and if fits perfect. The quality of material and workmanship that goes into this bib is amazing. leaves no doubt in my mind that I will stay warm and dry when i'm outdoors. I know there are a lot of nay sayers when it comes to spending money on Arcteryx products. I was one of them..... till I started buying their products. Save your money and buy quality ONE time. I'm telling you... You won't be sorry! AS a side note.. I know there are a lot of multi cam fans out there. I chose crocodile for two reasons. 1. So I can wear this somewhere besides the woods. 2. I've noticed from my own experience that Multi-cam Is definitely a fall and early spring pattern, or arid/transitional pattern. wearing this in the lush green areas I'm in makes it pretty unsuitable (other than the seasons listed above) I also noticed with the lighter colors of green and tan that i stand out like a sore thumb at night. I have found that colors like ranger green and crocodile do a much better job year round and at night as well. plus I can get away with wearing it into town without looking like "Bobby Redneck"
