First Softshell Review by Adrian

Got the Drac after reading countless reviews on its usefulness. I have ordered the Drac in small and had a change of mind when i couldn't fit in my Atom LT inside, for a good insulation in the cold weather. Got it exchanged to a medium, no thanks to us elite who has been very prompt and quick in the whole exchange. The jacket is warm by itself, and its sized generous for layering. The quality of this jacket is outstanding, no less from Arcteryx, and i foresee this to be a good to piece for any cold weather activities. (Posted on 5/17/2015)
Arcteryx in Wolf - Nuff Said Review by Gucci

This jacket was a little thinner and larger than i expected (I ordered a XL in Wolf) but I'm still very happy with it - super quality and attention to detail. A great Autumn jacket with no hood to flap around. I received many comments on the colour too. I would prefer to see better zip pulls (but this is a common complaint and will be sorted with some para cord)
I ordered this, cap and boots as a first time buyer from US Elite and was super happy with their service - especially as i had to change the delivery type after order!! (Posted on 3/28/2015)

I have Drac in two colours - croc and wolf and I can´t say which colour is better. The Drac is for me better in feel than Bravo or Combat jacket. The jackets are very similar in shape but the material is different and everyone have to try and choose. I chose the drac. With its pockets and lightwieght and of course good looking. :-) (Posted on 5/12/2014)

With proper layering this jacket can be utilized in harsh cold. I spent 4 days at a very high elevation with temperatures around -10* C. This jacket with the atom lt jacket, a wool sweater, a chimera shirt and a wraith jacket as extra wind breaker kept me warm for 4 days while on the move through the mountains. I even had to utilize the pit zips From time to time to cool off from heavy exertion. Tremendous value and versatility, as with all arcteryx products. (Posted on 3/23/2014)

This is my first purchase of an Arcyterx product and my first purchase from U.S. Elite and I do not think it will be the last of either. I haven't had a chance to test out the weather resistance of the jacket but I expect it to be great as the quality of the jacket is better than any other piece of technical clothing i have ever owned. The attention to the small details is great and the fit is definitely better than any other softshell I have owned. It's not snug but it doesn't have extra fabric where it's not needed. I have a 44 inch chest, 15 inch biceps, and a 34 inch waist and the Large fits outstanding. I would say the fabric provides a small amount of insulation and prevents convective cooling. If you need a versatile softshell for multiple environments this is it. (Posted on 2/1/2014)

Great jacket. Nice fit, very breathable, makes for a great layering piece. Not something you would want to take into really cold temps, but great for mild weather. Highly recommend! (Posted on 12/28/2013)

This is the jacket that I keep in my truck at all times. The material is awesome. It is not that great in moderate to heavy rain, but will withstand light rain. It is warm enough to wear in moderate cold temps, but breathable enough to not be too hot in the early spring and fall. My shooting jacket of choice. Arcteryx doesnt disappoint...ever. Arc'teryx may be pricey, but you are getting top quality gear. The Drac jacket is comfortable, good looking and will be good for at least three quarters of the year. If your winter is mild, could probably get away with it year round. Buy once cry once. Get yourself good quality gear and don't look back. (Posted on 6/4/2013)

Another extremely well made Arcteryx product. This jacket is durable; rip proof, water resistant and windproof the Drac has it all. I would consider this a 2-3 season jacket, but with the addition of a fleece or coreloft insulating layer this could definitely also be used in mild winter weather as well. If you buy Arcteryx you're always getting the very best gear. (Posted on 5/30/2013)
